IKIGAI FITNESS: A successful and smooth e-commerce project

Project Kickoff
To kick off the project, we gathered at Ondigital’s office in Malmö for the first meeting with Karim. The office was filled with anticipation and enthusiasm to finally begin the project – creating an e-commerce platform that is easy to navigate and clear for visitors.
Collaboration and Creation
Together, we set up a Shopify store and chose the perfect theme based on Karim’s preferences and our experiences. The choice of Shopify was obvious to us, with its user-friendly interface and robust features that are perfect for e-commerce projects of all sizes.
Based on our discussions and previous work, we created a detailed project plan where responsibilities and tasks were clarified to ensure a smooth execution of the project. By using this plan, Karim could easily follow the process and see what had been done and what remained to be done.
During the Work
Throughout the project, we at Ondigital actively worked on setting up the IKIGAI Fitness store while Karim focused on product photography, establishing a presence on social media platforms and preparing for the launch.
We integrated PostNord into Shopify using Synka+, which enabled smooth handling of shipping and deliveries for Karim when orders started coming in.
Communication: The Key to Success
Throughout the project and after the launch, we maintained close contact with Karim and excellent communication, which was crucial for the smooth progress of the project. We had regular calls to discuss progress and resolve any issues. Collaboration and communication enabled efficient work through all parts of the project.
Within a month, we and Karim managed to complete the construction of the webshop, product photography, and all other necessary tasks to get the website ready for launch. By sticking to a structured project plan, we were able to achieve this ambitious goal within the set timeframe.
Launch and Success
The response was immediate, and orders started coming in quickly after the launch. A lot thanks to Karim’s engagement on social media and collaborations with ambassadors in the right target audience.
